The kids and I went with some friends on a hike down to a beach. The trail was about one mile and very steep in parts, but the kids made it and had a fun time hiking in and out. We had lunch down on the beach and let the kids play in the sand and water. The beach wasn't too busy since it's not one of the easiest beaches to get to, but it sure was beautiful. The kids also enjoyed watching the trains pass every so often as there was also a track running near the beach. The conductors honked and waved each time.
