On the third day we drove over to the West side of the peninsula to the Ho Rain Forest. Another unimaginably beautiful place.

We hiked the Hall of Mosses.

The kids played with their umbrellas while we sat and had lunch in the park. They also picked up a National Park Junior Ranger Booklet so they could start working on earning their Junior Ranger Badge.

On our way out of the Forest we stopped and skipped rocks in the Ho River. Glenn caught this little fish to show the kids, then let it go.

Drew is telling me a story about how high the splash was from the rock he just threw into the river.

And yes, finally photo evidence. Now the kids can't claim that I never let them eat fast food. We stopped at this little hamburger place in Forks for dinner. The kids had a cup of dirt for dessert (ice cream topped with crushed Oreo and gummy worms).
