Day ONE of our trip

There is so much to tell about our trip to Salt Lake City that I can't include everything. It seems like everyday was packed with fun.
We got into Salt Lake LATE at night. The kids were amazingly good on the airplane! Early the next morning we got up and went to Wheeler Farm. Grandpa was a volunteer at one of the game stations that day.

The kids had fun fun playing games. Especially spitting seeds into buckets. They also made an old fashion button/string toy that provided much more entertainment than I would have thought it could.

We spent the middle part of the day swimming at Grandma's pool. This is what the kids had most been looking forward to doing on vacation and and it did not disappoint! Paul, Andrew, Cathy and Isla joined us that first day. The kids had a ton of fun!
Great Grandma was at Grandma Lee's house today too. We had fun chatting with her. Ian was so cute with her. He had fun talking to her. Showing her his toys and what he had made at the farm. He even did a few karate demonstrations for her.
That evening we joined Shannon, Aaron, and Spencer and some of their friends at Draper Days to watch a concert in the park and watch fireworks.
What a fun first day!
