Thursday
On Thursday the kids and I wanted to do something fun. We hadn't been to the Children's museum for a few months since Drew was in between the stages of being happy to watch from mom's arms and being able to get down and participate without putting everything in his mouth. So, now that he has more 'pretend play' skills under his belt we decided to brave the museum. It was a huge success. Drew LOVED it, and was able to play in each area without any trouble (except for a few fake food items that actually went in his mouth, yikes!). Ian and Drew cooperated in the pizzeria and made me a wonderful pizza and ice cream Sunday; flew us in the airplane to visit Grandma (I had to be the flight attendant who brought snacks to the pilots); worked on the farm milking the cow, feeding the chickens, riding the tractor and the horse; drove the bus around town; performed a superhero play; took care of sick animals in the veterinary clinic; and many other fun things. We all had a lot of fun.
We came home and had lunch. Drew took a nap while Ian helped me make the dough for cookies. When Drew woke up he was our taste tester...Although I don't think there is anything he wouldn't like, our cookies passed the test.
Then we headed off to Karate.
What a fun Thursday.
