After soccer on Saturday we stopped to check out this Renaissance Fair that we had not ever been to. They had a giant trebuchet and also an air cannon for launching pumpkins. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I never would have believed how far the pumpkins would go.
The kids battled in the arena while Glenn and I looked at shops. The kids played on giant hay rolls. Then we headed down to Woodinville to pick up some wine. While there we stopped and had lunch with the kids at Purple. I have the only kids I know who would rather not order from the kids menu when there are choices like: *KING SALMON TARTARE seaweed salad, jalapeño, orange, sesame seeds and
ginger aïoli. Yup, they loved it. (With their sweet potato fries, of course.)
