Spiderman

What do you do when your favorite character is Spiderman and your Mom leaves you alone with the markers for three minutes? Turn yourself into Spiderman, of course!

Ian and I were working on a workbook when Drew woke up from his nap. In the time it took me to get Drew and change his diaper, Ian had transformed himself. He ran to the bottom of the stairs with a very proud and excited grin saying "Look, Mom!" To which I said, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He started to run away with the realization that he might be in trouble but at the same time I realized it was kind of funny, so, I started laughing. Then we took pictures and I told him not to do it again. But he insisted that he keep his "temporary Spiderman status" until his friends got home from school so he could show off his new fashion. (At least we learned this lesson with washable Crayola, and no clothing or furniture was involved!)
