Naming my blog...

I wanted a name for my blog that was creative, yet simple. Many of my ideas we're already taken so Lori's Logue is what I ended up with. Here is what it says to me. First, I've taken the ending of -logue from words such as monologue, travelogue, etc. Dictionary.com lists this ending as: a combining form used in the names of kinds of discourse, spoken or written. Second, it reminds me of the term 'Captain's Log' from Star Trek used when the captain makes a record or journal of his thoughts . You get the reference...if you're a Trekkie. Third, a little alliteration never hurt anyone. And forth, what could be simpler than calling my blog a logue?...except for maybe just calling it a log, but if you know me, my idea of simple is not always the simplest!
