Snow week

We had so much snow that the kids got to stay home from school for an entire week. Yes Monday through Friday, with weekends on each end. Everything else was also cancelled and it was so icy that we never left the house...except to go outside and play in the white stuff.


The kids had fun baking.

And jumping.
And frosting, and eating.
And frosting and eating some more.
And playing.
And jumping some more.
And playing some more.
The kids made Wizard hats...
And mixed some potions.
And they stayed in their PJs all week long.

It was the best week of the year so far...well, okay, we are only two weeks into the year, but it was one of the best vacations ever! I loved being trapped in the house with no place to be. And having a week off of EVERYTHING. No school, No sports, No bedtimes, No shopping, No errands, No having to get dressed. Lots of playing, dancing, reading, movies, XBox, cooking, and organizing!
