The kids REALLY wanted to make these Valentines to give to their classmates this year. Of course they planned to help make them, but...you know who really did it. They turned out cute though.
Also, our new tradition is to have the kids trade in all their Valentine candy for $10. That way they can go to the store and buy something, instead of ingesting all that RED 40.
I also planned the Valentine party for Ian's class. We had a "Friendship Breakfast," where we made waffles in class and served them with whipped cream and strawberries. The kids also played a few games and traded Valentines.
