This year we made a Thanksgiving tree. The kids thought of a big list of the things that they are Thankful for this year. Each thought is on a leaf that the kids hung on the tree.
Here is what they came up with in no particular order...
Our house, playhouse, karate, sun, playroom, books, learning to read, brothers, bathtub, Dad, Drew, Ian, Jungle gym, Pillow Pets, music, bags, dirt, T.V., blankets, toilets, showers, sink, bathtub, light, playing, pictures, home movies, soccer, holidays, beaches, neighbors, friends, garden, toys, clothes, money, cars, teachers, reading stories, food, movies, soil, lights, piano, airplanes, Cannon (our dog), learning to write, climbing trees. Grandma Lee, Grandpa Ed, Grandma Paula, Grandpa Mike, Grandma and Grandpa Jones, Great Grandma, Neal, Linzie, Reiley, Shannon, Aaron, Spencer, Paul, Amanda, Andrew, Cathy, Isla, Daniel, Michelle.
Glenn added to the list...Lori, wine, computers, beaches, family vacations, wine.
And I added to that...our health and our new deck...all this and so much more.
There is plenty to be thankful for.
