Holiday Season

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Wait, does that song actually refer to a different holiday? Because around here the favorite holiday just happens to be at the end of October. Even when Ian is threatening to move away and not tell us where he is living, he adds that he will be back for Halloween. Don't you just love all the crunching leaves, the sweet taste of apples and pumpkins, the kids in their costumes, tasty treats, fun and scary parties, roaming through the pumpkin patch, and spooky Halloween stories told in bed at night with the covers pulled up tight around your cozy jammies.
