My boys love their dad. It's obvious every day of the year. At breakfast time they eagerly await their dad's footsteps on the stairs announcing that he is coming down for breakfast, or later in the day keeping their ears open for the sound of the office door opening...Could he be done working???
They can hardly wait for the hour to come when they are having a "Dad Night." This is what we call the nights that mom goes out and dad stays in with the boys. You would think it's a holiday to rival Christmas or Halloween. Whether I'm just running my errands (alone) or going out with friends, they can hardly wait to shoo me out the door (not that they don't love me, but this is their special time with dad, and dad is fun). As it gets closer there are usually war whoops and cart wheels and a lot of excited jumping around. Dad night never disappoints, and they always eagerly await the next Dad Night.
You can tell by the fun they are having in these pictures and by the way they look at him on Father's Day morning, that no dad could be a better dad, soccer coach, wrestling partner, teacher, electronics guru, example of how to treat moms/girls, or over all champion to these lucky boys!
