The Second Sunny Day

I bet you can guess where we spent our second sunny day. Yup, Country Village. The ducks were hungry and Drew has been asking to go.
It was even sunny enough to see your shadow.
Gotta love the playground.
Three hours at the park, enjoying the nice weather was a real treat.
But sometimes a little (too much) sunshine can make Drew grumpy. This child wouldn't mind if the sun never came out. He thinks it is out to get him. He is quite dramatic when the sun gets in his eyes. He always comments how he wishes the sun wouldn't come out on days that he has____. Fill in the blank with anything...soccer, preschool, grocery shopping. Sometimes when he's not feeling well he tells me that the sun is making him sick. Even if we're indoors. Even once when he woke up in the middle of the night he claimed, "Mom, I told you I'm allergic to the sun. It's making me sick." I had to tell him it was the middle of the night and the sun wasn't even out. To which he replied, "But it was out during the day."

I'm sure he'll slowly adjust as the spring and summer progress. Right now, the rest of us will enjoy it when it does peak from behind the clouds.
