Grandma and Grandpa's house

It's been way too long since we've been to visit Glenn's parents. We are quite spoiled since they usually come spend time at our house, but it's such a treat to go to their house too. The kids LOVE it.

One of the highlights of their trip was buying parachute men at the local toy store. They played with these little guys for hours. Inside and outside, wherever there was room to let them fall. And Ian has already put in his request for more.

Playing in the garden is always fun too. Grandma and Grandpa's back yard it tiered so it has lots of places to climb, slide and jump. Especially when the sprinklers make the rocks slippery!

We went on a hike, no make that a walk, in the mountains.

Glenn caught a lizard and the boys had fun playing with it until we made them let it go. It seemed kind of old and tired and we could only sympathize with the poor thing being chased around by two little boys :)

We also went back to our favorite spot on the river. The kids had fun wading in the water with Grandma and Grandpa, skipping rocks and seeing how far they could throw rocks across the river. We also saw a black bear come down to the river right across from where we were playing.

Nobody wanted to leave Grandma and Grandpa's house it's enough to make you cry. But we finally made it home, and look forward to the next visit.

Looks like fun. I love the "slipping on the rocks" pic. so funny. Spencer LOVES those little parachute men too and has TONS of them. When you guys come to visit we know what to get out now!
