Ian's Preschool Program

Every year Ian's preschool does a little presentation for Mother's Day. They show off many of the skills they have learned throughout the year and also celebrate their moms by singing some Mother's Day songs and also give presents that they made for us. This year's theme was Lollipops. The room was decorated in Lollipops, and the gifts were handmade lollipops in a handmade vase along with a cute card.
This year they sang all the versus of "This Land Is My Land," recited poems, sang several fun songs, recited the Japanese alphabet (with a little help), sang "Atama Kata Hisa Ashi" ("Head Shoulders Knees and Toes") in Japanese, signed and sang "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" in American Sign Language, and performed a Danish Folk Dance.
Ian did a great job. Several of the other parents even commented about how animated he was and how thorough he was with all the songs and actions. I must agree, he was the BEST!
