Grandma and Grandpa were finally able to escape the snow and ice and make it over the mountain to visit. The very first thing that Drew did when he heard me say "Grandma and Grandpa are here," is run out the front door squealing and jump into Grandpas arms. He gave Grandpa a 20 minute bear hug. I think it's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. It had been about six weeks since we had seen them and Drew must have really been missing Grandpa. He even woke up during that night calling "Pa, Pa?"
Ian had fun playing game after game after game with Grandma all weekend, while Grandpa helped Dad work on the built in shelves we're adding to the guest room. And I even got to go jean shopping while Grandma walked around the store with Drew.
The kids sure love having their grandparents visit! I'm sure they'll always remember the fun times they spend with them.
