Happy Mother's Day!

Ian's preschool class had a special Mother's Day performance last week. They got to show off many of the things they have been learning in school this year through song and dance. They started off by marching in like a band with musical instruments. They sang many songs including God Bless America and Puff the Magic Dragon. They also performed Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in American Sign Language. They showed off their French language skills in a song called "Que'ce Que C'est?" and counting to ten in French. Then they recited a poem about all the planets in our Solar System. Then they sang a few Mother's Day songs and performed a Danish folk dance called Dance of Greeting.

It was Ian's very first performance and it was so much fun to watch him. It made my whole Mother's Day week feel very special. Glenn and Ian also gave me the best Mother's Day present on Sunday by Scrubbing the entire wood floor, vacuuming the whole house and cleaning all the bathrooms for me. What a treat! Thanks guys.

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day as well.
