Ian and Drew had been playing in the sandbox so nicely all day on Thursday, so on Friday while they played I decided I could run in the house to empty the dishwasher. After about two minutes I peeked back out to see Ian holding Drew's mouth open and filling it with a big shovel full of sand. They both thought it was so funny. Drew was caked with dirt. Besides having it in his mouth he had it in his eyes, ears, up his nose, caked to his scalp, in his pockets, and about a cups worth in his diaper. They have been playing in the sandbox non-stop since the weather started warming up. They never want to leave the 4 square feet of space. I wonder what they would do if we took them to a beach? They might think they were in heaven.
