What could be better than family date night? Family date night with great friends, you say? Yes, of course! But going out for great pizza could only make it better, so we went to a local pizza place in Edmonds and ordered our food. I am completely obsessed with making "the perfect pizza" at home, so I asked the owner if I could come back into his kitchen and take a look in his oven. He was so gracious and not only gave me a tour of his kitchen, complete with testing the heat at different areas of his oven, but he allowed me to make one of our pizzas and slide it into the wood burning oven. The pizza I made turned out a little more oval than round, but hey, it was my first time using a five foot pizza peel. We wrapped up the night at the Edmonds Center for the Arts to see Cirque Ziva, which was an amazing show! The kids loved all the amazing acrobatics. What a perfect evening.
