Grandma came to visit the day after Christmas. It was such a nice break to unwind and relax with my mom over the Christmas break. She insisted that I leave my Christmas decorations up until after she arrived, so we enjoyed them for an extra week. It was so nice. I think I may even do the same thing next year. Sometimes it takes until you're in your thirties until your mom telling you to chill out starts to make some sense.
Anyway, we had a great time with her here. We spent a day down on the waterfront and even rode on The Great Wheel, which was awesome. She watched the kids while Glenn and I went out. Then she and I took another night to go out. We had fun playing cards one night. I kept winning all the games, but Glenn and my mom still seemed to have a really good time.
She stayed to celebrate New Year's Eve with us, and sadly she had to leave the next morning. Thanks for the fun visit.
