While driving home from the store today Drew said, "Mom, I just found my tooth in my mouth." Although he had a loose tooth, it was not that loose, so I said, "Oh, I doubt that it's your tooth. Let me see." I reached my hand to the back seat and when I looked at what he had put in my hand it really was his tooth. He had popped it out while opening the pull cap on his water bottle. There was no blood, no pain, no fuss. Just a tooth.
Drew was excited to have lost his first tooth. When we got home he wanted to drink through a straw between his teeth, "Just like Ian did."
