We thought it would be fun for you to see pictures of the kids "carving their pumpkins." So, after Glenn and I cleaned out and carved pumpkins for the boys, we had them pose with their hands inside the pumpkins so that you might think that they had fun, willingly scooping out the slimy seeds. Actually both kids this year refused to touch the insides. (Remember, Drew wants to be just like his big brother.) Ian's shirt even had to be removed after Glenn playfully put a scoop on him. It was quite traumatic for Ian who quickly removed his shirt with some labored breathing. The pumpkins turned jack-o-lantern ended up looking scary, as requested, and I think everyone had a good time.
