We spent a fun Saturday afternoon together at the Snohomish Kla Ha Ya Days Festival. We had fun watching the contests like the SoapBox Car racing (Ian wants to build one with his Dad for next year's festival), the firefighters waterball contest, Dunk a cheerleader booth (which Ian tried and succeeded), and the frog jumping contest which Ian also participated in. His frog jumped 9 feet 10 inches! We also ate lunch and ice cream and then headed down the road to the carnival portion of the festival where we had fun watching Ian ride the kiddie rides.

I still don't know how to pronounce 'kla ha ya'! i probably posted it incorrectly on my blog! Good for ian dunking a cheerleader. . . at least it wasn't Aly! Ken said you visited tonight in our calm cul-de-sac while i was fighting crowds at the parade in sleepy snoho. . .
